It is a Web system completely written in HTML5, which interfaces itself with on-line distribution systems, so as to provide the citizen not just access to the report but also the ability to view the images of the exam.

EyeLiteWeb is configured to maintain a cache with the latest exams (time range is configurable and customizable), so you can get quick access to them. To get older examinations, the images release time is slower because the WEB server needs to request PACS or ABI images and generate the JPEG + HTML for external view.

The system also provides the possibility to make available to citizen also the "patient CD" conforming to IHE guidelines, by downloading, from the radiological center's site that gave the service, a compressed archive containing DICOM images and the image viewer.
